Let There Be Socks...

Those are my daughter's feet modelling her long-awaited cotton socks. Thank goodness they're done. As far as stupid ideas go, this one will never be repeated. I mean, really. Knitting socks for a child of 7 in a size 10 crochet cotton? There must have been wine involved to make that appear to be a good idea. A lesson learned, let us say and never mention this incident again. No wonder I was knitting wash cloths for a change of pace.

And here is evidence of more sock knitage, these in Briggs & Little Tuffy. THE Most Appreciated socks EVER.
Thank you; thank you very much!
The knitter has now left the building...

Those socks are wonderful. And you obviously love her alot.
Now, exactly how many stitches in a round? Inquiring minds really want to know.
The worst I have ever dealt with is 118 (top of an intricate knee high in very fine weight) and I thought it was going to go insane.
